"Agrihood" was coined after a recent unveiling of a fabulous, 3-acre plot of land in the middle of a suburb that grows rows of vegetables, with an orchard of over 200 trees, in Detroit! An agricultural neighborhood where it feeds over 2,000 households for free, managed by volunteers. Urban gardens are popping up everywhere to offset the price of produce that a lot of American households are finding more and more difficult to afford. Agrihoods to build community.
